Since our establishment in 2021, we have been working in the offices provided by the institution of Dr. Hanan Matar, with volunteers who live and work along Akkar, near the Syrian border in the North of Lebanon. All our members are responsible to cover their own travel, food, and material expenses of their support in Albi Maak.

Unfortunately, with the current multiple crisis that Lebanon is facing, our volunteers are struggling to cover even these basic expenses, besides their regular daily expenses. In addition, on the top of offering us their time, knowledge, and networking, we do not have the financial resources to cover for their regular expenses related with the work in Albi Maak.

Therefore, part of your donations are used to support our volunteers with their financial burdens.

Our volunteers are the heart and soul of our operations. We are an open place for individuals of all communities where international volunteers interact and work together with local staff members and volunteers to make a change.
